It's another MFT Blog Hop!!

I don't know about you but I LOVE the "My Favorite Things" blog hops! so much inspiration from the other girls on the team! I'm so excited that I get to be part of them :)!! This mid month release has just what you need to create the perfect gift! Two new stamp sets that will fit perfectly on the front of the new jars Kim has brought to "My Favorite Things" I used Neenah Cardstock and adhered mine to the jar with pop dots, but I think actual sticker paper stuck right to the jar would be FABULOUS!!
I made my jar for my 9-year-old sons teacher...she is A. MAZ. ING! she has so much patience and love for the children and has been especially helpful in dealing with my ds's anxiety issues. I thought she might need a sugary pick me up at school so I made her a smore snack jar. (I'm gonna let you in on a little secret)...beyond paper and ink I really don't have many skills so my gift jar is filled with Honey Grahams cereal, mini marshmallows and Hershey's chocolate chips. Easy to make and VERY yummy! I added a bow and button apples, drew the stem and leaf with markers. easy peasy!

and just to show you that these sets are not only for cards or gifts, I made a scrapbook page. For the chalkboard I stamped on Neenah cardstock, colored in with my black Copic and then I took my Copic clear blender and 'scrubbed' some of the black ink off and it gave it the look of a chalky chalk board: I also used the uber cool new digi papers from Stephanie Fizer on this layout. Stephanie ROCKS by the way :)

Other products being released on May 20th (midnight):
*Stephanie Fizer Papers - School Collection digi paper pack
*Jars sized to fit label stamp sets (sold in packs of 4)
*Eclipse Masking Sheet packs
*Adornments Shimmer brads (8-10 each pink, 8-10 cream, and 16-20 white)

From here you head on over to** Paula's blog**, I'm sure she has something AMAZING to show you!!
