Green is what??!!....

Good!

tee hee~ can you tell me where that line comes from?

You've reached the end of the Unity DT Hip HOp Blog Hop!!! woohoo! yep, I'm the end!

I made this card using Tiny Trinity, one of the uber cool tree sets that Unity has! I was feeling springiness come on and watching my favorite movie when I made this card (Ok, that was a hint on my title :) ) so lots of spring green is what I came up with!
Paper is from Making Memories, buttons from Creative Cafe, Stamped in Momento colored with copic markers.
Today I wanted to show you this picture of my mom. I found it among her slides. She's a teenager here, and she was beautiful! diggin the hair too :)
It's been 6 months since my mom passed away and the pain of loosing her is still there but thankfully it is getting easier. She was an amazingly strong woman who had a difficult life but rose to the challenge. I miss her.

Leave a comment and you could win the blog candy!! woohoo!!

Terrific card. Love all the color and texture.

And hugs to you. I was talking with some friends on Tuesday about how I had been thinking "Spring break is over and tomorrow I'll see.... when I take my son to school," but then realized no I won't because she had passed away two months ago. (huh? what was I thinking?!)
I think it's normal for us to always want the people in our lives that have made such an impression on us. It's ok to miss your mom. Just make sure you don't get lost in the sorrow.
