Authentique Paper is hoppin' with The Twinery!

I don't think it gets much better than Authentique Paper and The Twinery Bakers Twine!
LOVE :)
Today I am so excited to be able to hop along with some of the Authentique Design Team AND the Twinery Design Team!  Whoop whoop!
You should have hopped here from my friend Julie's Blog./
She sure does rock the Twine!
Now for my project....A Halloween layout made with the uber cool "Glowing" Collection

Where's the pictures you ask?  I DIDN'T TAKE ANY!
GASP!  This scrapbooker mom of 4 did not take one single picture this Halloween.
My 15-year-old dd told me I didn't care about the memories any more :(
So this 2011 Halloween layout is all about the memories that
"mom didn't care about"
some close ups

I used Charcoal and Mandarin Orange twine
and a helpful tip...if the white is too bright for your papers, you can use some Distress Stain or ink to make it have more of a cream tint...more miles for your buck!
Now it's time to hop on over to

I like your story. I too have made pages without any pictures. It was about a memory on a cruise. I hid the journaling on it because it was a funny story about my sister, but she would be emberassed if I exposed it.

Love this LO -- I'd snap some sad shots of crushed wrappers and do a large journaling block titled "The Memories I Didn't Care About"... I have LO's w/o pictures like that..
that music background paper is fantastic.

LOVE this collection of papers!!!!! I have a place in my heart for paper with music! THe twine is a great final touch!

I think you should put a caption on the page " DD told me I didn't care about the memories any more :(" and put it in your book!!!

I'm betting that mom was just really busy with tons of other stuff...and I'll also bet that if your kids are anything like mine, sometimes you just don't feel like trying to get them to pose, etc...
Anyway, cool page! You could fill it with journaling about all you DID do for Halloween!

Marla said...

Very fun paper and I think I have the same problem with taking photos the older my children get.
