Are you ready for another Our Daily Bread Designs challenge?!! Did you know Earth Day is this week? So in it's honor this weeks challenge is all about going green. No not the color green- 'going green' as in reduce, reuse, recycle!
For my project today I reused some heavy chipboard that came in a package of papers I recently got. I cut two squares about 4 1/2 X 4 1/2 and covered them with patterned paper. I started with the new Mom set...LOVE LOVE LOVE this set! I also stamped the floral image on the pp to help tone down the color with my Old Paper ink pad and to add a little more distressing.
I colored the flowers with my copics and added lots of pearls and ta da!!! It looks beautiful sitting on my piano!
and a couple of closer looks
We would love to have you play along! Upload to Mr. Linky on the ODBD blog for you chance to win a gift certificate to the store. if you upload over at splitcoast use key word ODBDSLC10 so we can find you!
and be sure to see how the other gals 'went green'!
