The Eve before Christmas Eve...

And I've been playing!! Yep, been stamping and scrapping quite a bit this weekend! Woohoo! I have a couple of cards I want to share with you today! The first card is doing double duty. I used the sketch from Di Hickman's Design Team Call but I also wanted to join in Caardvarks RickRack Patty-Whack Challenge, I didn't have the brown rick rack I would have liked so I used my sewing machine and kinda sewed the grosgrain into a rick rack look.
I am LOVING card challenges lately, they are helping me get some cards made and stretching me as a card maker-plus they're just dang FUN!!! Anyway, here's the first card (sorry for the crazy picture, I took it at night at my scrappin table!

This next card uses more Scenic Route papers but these are the fun new Valentines papers. I also just got a pretty new green ink pad from CTMH and some super cute new stamps from My Favorite Things I have wanted a fun birthday stamp set and this one was it! I also used Di's sketch for this card. Love the sketch, wasn't thrilled with the card-but hey... ad a pretty bow and some bling and you can almost make anything look good :) (shh- don't tell anyone my secret!!!)

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas...I know I'm gonna!!

ps: as much as i love the rickrack one-- (and i DO love it!) --the one with the ribbon...and the bling...and the scalloppy stamp to divide the sections...and that ADORABLE CAKE?! i think, if you FORCED me to choose...that'd be my fave! (shhhhhhh! don't tell *my* secret!) ;)
